Understanding the opportunity means understanding the risk.
These points provide context for our public materials. They do not replace the disclosures and terms for a specific contract, account or investment product.
Options and potential loss
Options are complex instruments. A purchased option can lose its premium; selling an option introduces obligations and, depending on the strategy, potentially much larger losses. Leverage can amplify both gains and losses.
Contract terms, exercise, assignment and expiration affect what happens to a position. Liquidity and execution costs also matter. Read the appropriate disclosures and understand the specific contract before considering a trade.
FINRA: understanding optionsModels, illustrations and uncertainty
The research visualisations on this website use simulated data to explain concepts. They are not live signals or evidence of investment performance. A forecast, backtest or historical outcome does not guarantee a future result.
Model research depends on its inputs, evaluation method and assumptions. Market conditions can change. The ability to describe a decision does not remove its uncertainty or the possibility of loss.
Programme availability
Our investment pages describe programmes in development. Final mandates, eligibility, fees, custody and funding arrangements, withdrawal rules and product-specific risks must be reviewed separately before any participation. This public website does not accept investment deposits.
Academy registration provides educational access or records course interest. It does not establish suitability to trade, open an investment account or grant investment approval.
